I purchased these boots June 2017. I wear them on Patrol evry night,5 – 6 times a week. . I cannot believe how comfortable they are and how well made they are. I have been trying all different mainstream brands and they would last 9 months max.. I just checked the website today to find out when I bought them because they are still going strong and dont need replacing ! I highly reccoment this company to anyone who cares about their feet are are in workboots most of time. I will never buy any other brand workboot. I’ve been using them in the Wisconsin winter for a year now and they’ve not budged. Slight scratches on the toe and on the sides can be easily removed with good conditioners (I recommend Chamberlain’s leather restoration kit). They’re also ridiculously well-insulated: at windchills of -20 F, I wear polyester workout socks under these and walk for 4 miles in the snow and don’t even feel it. They’re completely waterproof too and very convenient when dealing with the puddles on the sidewalk in October/ November. The soles are grippy on wet and snowy surfaces as well. These are the best boots you can get, not just at this price, but any price. Proud to be supporting these guys. Keep making in the USA, guys: you’ve got lifelong support from me.

I owe this American made boot company a great review for these boots are top notch and damn comfortable right out of the box! I’ve bought some other boots made here in the great USA, but these ones are absolutely badass and a bit better from the get go! (no names) The leather is seriously high grade. Quad stitching too! Kind of like the leather on my drum dyed USA made leather jacket made in NY. (no names) So the leather is kind of soft to the touch but ready for the elements! Awesome soles too, that grab quick and stop you in place! I seriously hope AF Footwear is supported by more of us here in the states, for I’m now a life long boot buyer from this company. I purchased the Heritage – Black Battalion boots about two years ago and love them. They are comfortable and fit my size 13 Wide foot better that all of the other brands I tried. The soles are want I needed for riding a motorcycle and grip the pavement very well.

Have these boots about a month, wearing them everyday. They are exceptionally made and very comfortable. I am very pleased I purchased them. I usually wear size 11 and a half, ordered the 12, which fits fine. My feet sweat a lot, but these boots don’t make that funky smell like my other made in china boots do. I highly recommend them.

#1 Best boots money can buy!
My first order was placed on 7/6/2011. I still wear these boots daily! that’s almost 3 years!! I work year round 5 days a week in every weather condition. These boots put up with the abuse of a truck repair shop, with daily oil and grease contact. I tell everyone I know looking for boots to buy these. I will reorder my “Heritage Black Battalion” boots on their 3 year anniversary. Thanks for a great product.

I purchased a pair of 6″ Black Battalions several months ago (Sept) and I just love them. I was going to use them mostly with my motorcycle, but I wear them to work and simply love the support and comfort they offer. I’ve also got some 12″ harness boots (a different company), but these AFBoots are my favorite by far. Nice boots.
